IMPORTING IMAGES FROM YOUR SCANNER--
Adding a Scanned Image to the ImageStrip
  1. Set up your scanner.
  2. Click the Scanner button in Canon Creative.
  3. The first time you click the Scanner button, you will be asked to select a scanner source. Canon Creative accesses your scanner software so you can establish the required settings.
  4. Scan an image. (Follow the directions provided by the manufacturer of your scanner.) Then, close your scanner software.
  5. When done, the image stored in the scanner's memory automatically appears on the ImageStrip. You can now use the image in any application.
    Note: If desired, use ColorDesk Photo to adjust the appearance of the image. Then, replace the original image on the ImageStrip with the adjusted image. (The "Adding images to the ImageStrip" topic provides more information.)
  6. Open the application of your choice (in Canon Creative, click the Start button) and drag-and-drop the image from the ImageStrip to the workspace of the application.
